History of the College

Govt. Polytechnic, Sheikhpura is a premier institution of technical education. It is under administrative control of department of science and technology and wholly funded by Govt. of Bihar. Established in 2016, It has -- acres on land, with its only boundary wall and compound. It has the residential facility for principal, lecturers, Non-Teaching staff,Boys, Girls.

The institution is founded by Government of Bihar. Government of Bihar took pains to establish the institution in this extremely backward and neglected area and worked tirelessly, day and night to realize dream come true. The college imparts teaching in four vocational cources and efforts are being made to B.Tech. The college has grown rapidly by the sincere efforts of dedicated faculty members and staff.

Admission Procedure

Entrance Test, The BCECE Board conducts Diploma Entrance Competitive Examination for admission in Government Polytechnic Sheikhpura and AICTE approved Private Polytechnic in the State of Bihar.:http://bceceboard.bihar.gov.in/ The minimum qualification required to pursue the above mentioned Polytechnic courses is – 10th passed from a recognized board.
